himalaya parvata and menaka (himalaya parvata's wife,other than apsara menaka)'s daughter is ganga, himalya parvata's another daughter parvati(lord shiva's wife)'s elder sister, Lord varuna that is samudra raja's wife, bheeshmacharya's mother.
Many think Ganga is wife of lord shiva but the true factor is ganga is daughter-in-law to lord shiva as lord varuna deva is born to lord shiva along with all other devatas, lord varuna's wife is ganga.
