A) jnanis or
scholars in the godly knowledge cleans us effectively than the
divine river Ganga, but how is it possible? Divine Ganga carries the
paada dhooli of sri man narayana or ganga flows from the foot of
lord narayana hence she drives away our sins but jnanis without any
connectivity with the foot of lord sri hari , how can they purify us
or destroy our sins, for this question Sri Bhagavata gives the
answer as follows, as Divine Ganga is connected with the foot of
Lord Sri hari in the same way Jnanis or scholars in divine knowledge
are also connected with the foot of sri hari but the difference in
between the two sin purifier sources is just one thing ganga flows
from the foot of sri hari but jnanis carry the foot of sri hari in
their hearts all the time hence they the jnanis purify us
immediately with their upadesha but Ganga purifies us when we serve
her for a long time and that too by making us close to the jnanis.
So, its better we serve Jnanis who with their knowledge immediately
purifies us.
