idol worship!

what is  an idol?

A) idol is a person or material which have a divya vibhuti rupamu sannidhanam of the all-mighty lord narayana. in the world in every where the lord is there but in few things only the lord had kept a vibhuti rupam.

the idols are two types 1) chetana 2) achetana

1) chetana- a scholar or a person who is having perfect divine knowledge of the all-mighty, in other words jnanis are the chetana vigrahamlu of the all-mighty. in this type of chetana vigraha the all-mighty's sannidhana is always present (nitya sannidhana) from goddess laksmi,brahma, rudra, indra and all the jnanis rushi munulu, divine trees, cows come under this category of chetana vigraha.

2) Achetana vigraha is of two type, 1) sahaja 2) aahita

                   1. sahaja achetana pratima of lord narayana are the 24 tatvas, pachabhutamulu, brahamdam, rivers, oceans, grahas, nakshatras, saligraamas, parvatas, sarovaras,pshkarinis etc., in these sahaja achetana pratima there is no need of ahwana vidhi, (natural pratimas of lord narayana)

                  2.) aahita achetana pratima are those in which we do ahwanam or vigraha pratisthapanam accordingly as told in vedas, here if we won't maintain shuddhi the sannidhana of the deity will be lost.

so when u understand this fact it comes to a conclusion that vigraha aaradhana in not a mean thing, it is a shastra sammata worship.
